That's how it started...

One summer, hanging out with some friends, without any doubt, we've made a decision that clearly influenced our lives and started a unique friendship ... but more on that in a moment.

We've met twice for the first time. And thank God for that, because the first time we felt no sympathy for each other at all. Several years passed before our paths crossed again. We gathered with few friends to run one of the local races in Gothenburg. Most of the girls decided to go 5 km, leaving us alone at the start line of the 10 km run - and here something started to happen ... although we made this first and crucial decision only nine months later - in the summer of 2015

That year we celebrated Midsummer together with our friends, as people living in Sweden do. 

Agnieszka dreamed of running Lidingöloppet, 30 km, and asked Kasia if she would like to take up the challenge. Kasia, of course, nodded briskly without thinking. Agnieszka followed the blow and added - Maybe if we are to run these 30 km, let's do the whole Swedish Classic. Kasia nodded equally briskly, enjoying the idea of a adventure that awaited her, at the same time not realizing what she had just decided on.

The Midsummer fun was in full swing, and there were three months left to Lidingöloppet. 

It is important to know that we were both (and still are) complete amateurs, learning by doing. The only thing we never ran out of was optimism and a good sense of humor. Lidingöloppet was just the beginning ...
